The longest night...

Wow, that was a really long night!  Tried to kill off 3 hours in the airport, but by the end the kids were alternating between mania and lethargy.  Trent was completely out cold before the plane even started moving, and Avery was sad and cried at any sudden breeze.

We got off the ground okay, and had a brief panic when a 4 or so month old tried to test his lungs, but he quickly fell asleep.  It is very hard to stay awake for the dinner they serve 2 hours in, but I think you have to.

Just before Hawaii, there was some shouting and commotion 5 rows back as somebody went into medical distress.  I was wondering how the trip would turn out if we needed to stop in Hawaii for treatment.  We would likely have arrived on the same morning as Steve will.  But two volunteer doctors got things in order.

After we landed and cleared customs, needed to eat again.  Sad to say but due to lack of (obvious?) foodcourt, our first Aussie meal was "Macca's" (McDonald's - another one to add to bingo)

Found hotel, and it is in a great spot right by the central train station.

Walked down to Darling Harbour.  We found a cool kids playground that we will try and spend more time at when we revisit after Christmas.

Tomorrow we will fly yet again and attempt driving in Surfers Paradise.

Bingo:
- "no drama!"  (No problem)
- macca's

Early night tonight though.  I feel like Trent looks here.
